families. The night will include fundraising activities and Westpac will
'Match' all money raised on the night.

Genzyme Australasia are the manufacturers of Thyrogen, a man made recombinant human thyroid-stimulating hormone (rhTSH) treatment. This treatment is available for thyroid cancer patients. This treatment gives patients the option of staying on thyroid replacement hormone during Radioactive Iodine (RAI) Ablation, Treatment and Follow Up Scans.

The Australian Thyroid Foundation would like to thank the team at Ogilvy PR Health headed by Leon Beswick. Ogilvy PR Health has been working with The Australian Thyroid Foundation since 2006, as the ATF’s media representative. The corporate support given by Ogilvy PR Health has made it possible for the ATF to be recognised as the Australian consumer authority for Thyroid Disorders and Iodine Deficiency and brought Thyroid issues to the forefront. The ATF appreciate and thank Ogilvy PR Health for the media commitment given to the ATF with ongoing support and expertise.
The Australian Thyroid Foundation would like to thank Michelle Shen, Inkbots – Design + Print for her creative designs and continued support. Michelle has continued to give the ATF newsletter “Thyroid News” a fresh look with the ATF trademark identity. Michelle commitment to provide new and exciting creative material, excellent service, and access to resources when needed, makes working with Michelle a pleasure.
The ATF appreciates the care and attention from BT Concepts, headed by Frank Galluzzo, given the organisation in regard to preparing and auditing the ATF’s Yearly Financial Report, which is presented to the ATF AGM for approval. The report is forwarded to the ACNC (Australian Charities & Not-For-Profit Commission).
Phillippa at Macarthur House provides the ATF with reasonably priced office accommodation and services. The office is pleasant, and the ATF have been part of the ‘Macarthur House family’ for many years.
The ATF has held The ATF Annual General Meeting at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club sin2008. The support and attention Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club provide for the ATF for these meetings has been most accommodating and appreciated. The club donate the booking fee back to the ATF after each meeting.
The Australian Thyroid Foundation would like thank and acknowledge Pixo – the easy answer to powerful web & mobile sites, for the new ATF website, which has improved the functions and services of the organisation. The ATF is very thankful for the opportunity to work with Pixo on this project and thank Nigel Hokin and Steve Marsh for their time and expertise in making this project a reality.
Darcy Shedden and her team from Oz Design Furniture, made it possible for The ATF to complete the refurbishment of two Radio Active Iodine Treatment Rooms at Royal North Shore Hospital at St. Leonards NSW. The ATF Gold Bow Day, highlighted the increase of Thyroid Cancer in Australia. Money raised from the sale of Gold Bows went towards upgrading upgrading the two Radio Active Iodine Treatment Rooms.
With the support of Oz Design Furniture, the reality was possible. Darcy and her team donated furniture, which improved thyroid cancer patient's stay and wellbeing, making the room comfortable whilst undergoing treatment. It was a pleasure working with Oz Design Furniture.
Gallop Solutions generously supports the ATF and has given the organisation expert advice and valuable business tools to grow the organisation with a fresh new approach. As the ATF is solely managed by volunteer staff, their business management training programs have helped structure, organise and guide the ATF team to achieve our required outcomes.
