1. Wording for Residuary Bequest

‘I give and bequest the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal to the Australian Thyroid Foundation Ltd, ABN 28 080 557 642, Suite 2201, Level 2, 31B Lasso Road, Gregory Hills NSW 2560 for its general purposes and to provide ongoing support, education, information services to members of the organisation and to raise awareness throughout Australia of thyroid health issues and prevention of iodine deficiency. I declare that the receipt of an executive officer at the time, shall be sufficient discharge of my executor’s duty’.

2. Wording for A Proportion/Percentage Bequest of the total estate

‘I give and bequest (free of all duties) ……per cent of my estate to the Australian Thyroid Foundation Ltd, ABN 28 080 557 642, Suite 2201, Level 2, 31B Lasso Road, Gregory Hills NSW 2557, for its general purposes and to provide ongoing support, education, information services to members of the organisation and to raise awareness throughout Australia of thyroid health issues and prevention of iodine deficiency. I declare that the receipt of an executive officer at that time, shall be sufficient discharge of my executor’s duty.’

3. Wording to leave a percentage of the residue of an estate

‘I give and bequest ….per cent of the residue of my estate to the Australian Thyroid Foundation Ltd, ABN 28 080 557 642, Suite 2201, Level 2, 31B Lasso Road, Gregory Hills NSW 2557, for its general purposes and to provide ongoing support, education, information services to member of the organisation and to raise awareness throughout Australia of thyroid health issues and prevention of iodine deficiency. I declare that the receipt of an executive officer at that time, shall be sufficient discharge of my executor’s duty.’
